Christmas Crafts

 


This week, I’m excited to share a few ideas inspired by everyone’s favourite piece of holiday decor - the Christmas tree. Encourage your child’s creativity and enjoy the holiday spirit with these fun Christmas Tree Crafts :


  • This cute paint chip Christmas tree craft is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Plan a trip to your local hardware store to grab some green paint chip samples and gather up a few craft supplies from around the house, and you’ve got some adorable mini-trees.
  • Is your little one learning their shapes? This shape Christmas tree craft is a great way to put those skills into practice - and can double as a handmade Christmas card to give to a friend or loved one.
  • Celebrate Christmas and teach your child about one of the great artists of the world, Salvador Dali, with this fun Dali-inspired Christmas tree craft. Our printable Dali template consists of a series of different mustaches - which you’ll use to create the boughs of your tree!

     Here are a couple of last-minute ideas to prepare for Christmas Day.

    • Keep the kids busy at the Christmas table with our printable Christmas activity placemats. (free using code - placemat)
    • Make paper chains to decorate for Christmas using our printable templates to colour. (free using code - chain)
    • Use our fake snow recipe as evidence Santa has been! You could make footsteps by pressing a large boot into the fake snow. (or alternatively, just have fun playing with the fake snow!)
    • Do you leave food for Santa's reindeer? We love making magic reindeer food to sprinkle on the lawn. If you haven't made any yet grab out printable labels along with some birdseed or oats and you're good to go!
